But is there a better way to tight up your bonds with a good friend? Well maybe… You guessed it, every night 2 of us would sleep together. You know the room will be comfortable and the price is usually good.

Holiday Inn Express is a very safe bet if you ever travel anywhere. Which makes it harder for newcomers as many booth spaces will go that way, but is a nice touch once you’re in. Since we’re no VIP, my guess is that it’s some kind of internal policy to invite people to show off again to the next expo. For example, we’ll be at PAX East in March and the booth is 1600$ USD. Also, if you’re considering to expose at any PAX convention, be warned: it’s kind of hard to get a booth. Make sure you know when they will open spaces, then harass them every day, starting a couple days in advance, until you get an answer. I don’t know if it’s a common thing, but after PAX South we’ve been invited to PAX East directly by them. Note that different expos will have a different pricing. The booth at PAX South was 1200$ USD, which makes roughly 1440$ CAD. I think it’s worth mentioning that we booked the tickets in late November. The upside is that we could start and arrive from our small-ish local airport, so we avoided a 2h30 drive to the bigger one that way (Montreal). 1700$ includes the round trip tickets for 3 guys, which seems a good price. The downside is that we took 3 planes to reach each destination.

That’s a very interesting hint when you have to transit with another plane in a 1h30 window. It’s easy to use and provides some insightful information like “Hey, the plane you’re going to take is often delayed by an hour”. If you never used it, I recommend you try Google Flights to find plane options. San Antonio isn’t exactly next door, so we took the plane to get there. More specifically, I’ll answer the question “How much did it cost to go out there?”. PAX Unplugged purple should be especially rad. It’s been almost a month since the PAX South, and I finally found some time to crunch numbers. PAX SOUTH NECROBALL PATCH
I ended up zipping around PAX South on a little scooter while the carbon fiber patch they sewed into my guts took root. Last year at this time I had just ruptured some of the important plumbing inside my human frame. PAX South is coming up next week and I'm getting excited.
